Dave would spend his afternoons with his dog Max reading adventures of pirates, buried treasure and giant octopi! He dreamt he was the fierce ''Pirate Dave'' in the Seven Seas where nothing was an impossibility!

Jessica had to get her face painted with pale white paint before she could have the rest of her bunny face painted on!

Its wayyy past bed time and I should be tucked into bed ready for work in the morning but all I can think of is this little girl, playing with her pink horse, colouring in her activity book and playing on her toy phone...Off to bed now, xxx goodnight!!

Illustration Friday- Instinct / Day Dreaming

Day dreaming - laying on a grassy slope soaking up the summer sun ( Sounds perfect to me!).... I arrived back home from a short vacation visiting family on the sunshine coast, Australia (http://www.panoramio.com/photo/1465294) Glorious! The suns warmth, the roar of the ocean, the bitter taste of sea salt on your lips, the smell of the fish & chips along the breeze - I think the Sunshine Coast was in the back of my head while I was doing this sketch :)

Lilly and Tilly

OK, so I am about to start some little children's books, prints and stationary in this style for sale... but before I do, would love to hear what you think about this one. I have called it "Lilly and Tilly" ( Tilly is the cat) I think they are a cute and can definitely imagine them in a little book... that you think?
